Speaking in an online meeting with the President of Tabriz Chamber of Commerce Abolfat'h Ebrahimi on Tuesday, Harea also called for exchange of business delegations between Iran and Moldova after the coronavirus pandemic retreats.
He said that by boosting communication, the two countries could explore mutual capacities for establishing trade ties and sign MoUs in this regard.
The Moldovan official said that the chamber was going to hold a virtual conference later in November and urged Iranian economic agents to actively participate.
Ebrahimi referred to the trade capacities existing in East Azarbaijan Province, northwestern Iran bordering with Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, saying that the province lies along the Silk Road. He also pointed to the tractor manufacturing plant in Tabriz which is the largest of its kind in Iran and many other industrial centers, including auto parts manufacturing factories, and refineries, and petrochemical plants, as well as transportation capacities and opportunities of East Azarbaijan Province.
Ebrahimi welcomed Moldovan official’s proposal to exchange trade delegations, saying that Iran was interested in expanding economic ties with Moldova.
